Chandigarh Tricity Metro: Real Estate Impact

The purpose of the Chandigarh Tricity Metro project is to offer residents of the city and the nearby towns of Panchkula and Mohali (New Chandigarh) adequate public transit. Important landmarks including bus terminals, airports, road connections, and other depots will be travelled by the metro line.

Accessibility to the Chandigarh Airport will be quick and simple because of the metro line that runs from Rock Garden to ISBT Zirakpur through Chandigarh. It will offer an alternate route to get to the airport and lessen traffic congestion on the roadways. Furthermore, the Chandigarh Industrial Area will pass by the metro route which might boost the region's real estate development. Further, residential properties will also increase in demand as the areas along with corridors are likely to attract home seekers. This will also result in a significant rise in property prices.

With the upcoming infrastructural development, New Chandigarh, a smart city in Punjab's Mohali region is likely to witness an enormous rise in demand for real estate. Major routes including Chandigarh's Madhya Marg and Dakshin Marg connect the city. Sectors 11, 14, 15, 17, 18, and 22 are covered by these. It is expected that the metro network will improve connectivity in these locations.
