The Green Line begins from Nagasandra in the northwest and ends at Silk Institute in South Bangalore. So, technically speaking, the Nagasandra is the Northern Terminus of the Green Line of Namma Metro, Bangalore.

Being one of the busiest metro stations of Green Line, Nagasandra Metro Station is located alongside the Malur-Byranahalli Road in the Bagalakunte neighborhood of North Bangalore. Nagasandra Metro Station - Entry & Exit Points

The Nagasandra Metro Station was open for commercial use on May 1, 2025. The inauguration of commercial service for the Nagasandra station was done by M Venkaiah Naidu, the then Minister of Parliamentary Affairs.

Phase 2 of the Green Line will be undergoing an expansion with the addition of 3 more metro stations which are currently under construction:

This expansion will lead to the connection of Nagasandra Metro Station to Madavara. The 3 under-construction metro station is estimated to be opened for public use in July 2024.
