In alignment with the broader national vision, the Maharashtra Government took proactive measures. It established the Maharashtra Real Estate Regulatory Authority, or MahaRERA, to oversee and nurture the real estate landscape within the state. This regulatory body was officially founded on 8th March 2017 and was set into motion in May of the same year.
