Thiruvananthapuram-Angamaly Greenfield Highway is a 6-lane high-speed elevated highway project with a width of 45 meters and running a total distance of 257 km. The project is also proposed to link with the Outer Ring Road in Thiruvananthapuram.

Just like the Kozhikode-Palakkad Greenfield Highway, the Thiruvananthapuram Angamaly Greenfield Highway will also have fewer exits and with the help of a GPS-centered toll system, the tolls will be calculated as per the distance covered.

Over 950 hectares of land are been planned to be acquired by the government for the construction of the Thiruvananthapuram-Angamaly Greenfield Highway project, connecting Trivandrum Ring Road to the Angamaly Bypass road.

The National Highway Authority of India(NHAI) has assigned a project director based in Kottayam as the public hearings for environmental clearance are soon to be scheduled. Several changes are been made to the planned construction of the Thiruvananthapuram Angamaly Highway and the construction of the project is expected to start soon.

As per the reports, the NHAI has estimated about 6 years for the completion of the public hearing in each district and land acquisition process and to start the construction of the Thiruvananthapuram-Angamaly Greenfield Highway project.
