When is the inauguration of Ram Mandhir?

The consecration ceremony or the Pran Prathistha of the Ram Lalla idol is set to take place on January 22, 2024, from 12:15 p.m. to 12:45 p.m. Hon Prime Minister will officiate the temple's official inauguration. The idol of Lord Rama in his glorious 5 year old childhood form, affectionately known as Ram Lalla, is set to reign the Ram Mandir on banks of the Saryu River.

The invitees include cricket legends Sachin Tendulkar and Virat Kohli, Bollywood superstar Amitabh Bachchan, and billionaire industrialists Mukesh Ambani and Gautam Adani, PTI reported citing official sources. Actors such as Rajnikanth, Chiranjeevi, Mohnalal, Akshay Kumar, Ranbir Kapoor, Anupam Kher, Kanagana Ranaut, Suresh Gopi, Danush, Rishabh Shetty etc.

What is the dress code in Ayodhya Ram Mandhir?

Devotees are expected to follow traditionally and culturally appropriate dress codes in Ram Mandhir according to the long standing tenets of Indian culture. Men are expected to wear Kurta-Pyjama, Dhoti, Panche, Mundu etc. Men are expected to avoid Shorts and Sleeveless Tops. Women are expected to wear traditional Indian wear such as Sari,Salwar Kameez, Dupatta or Shawl and avoid revealing or tight outfits against the modesty of the sacred temple.

Safety precautions for the Ram Mandir Inauguration ceremony

In order to guarantee a high level of security, both central and state intelligence agencies, in addition to military intelligence, have been placed on a heightened state of readiness. Initially, the darshan in the temple took place between 7 am to 11:30 am and again at 2 pm to 7 pm. • Aarti: 4.30 am (in the morning)
• Mangal Prayers: 6:30 am (in the morning)
• Darshan starts from 7 am (in the morning) onwards
• Special Puja: 12 pm (in the afternoon)
• Special Aarti: 7:30 pm (in the night)
• Special Prayers: 8 pm (in the night)
• Sayana Harati : 10pm (in the night)
