All about Telangana Robotics Framework

Telangana has indeed become futuristic with its new Telangana Robotics Framework.

On May 9th, 2023, the Telangana government released the first of its kind in India, a Robotics framework for rapid integration into the four major sectors of the state.

- Agriculture

- Healthcare

- Consumer Robotics

- Industrial Automation

As the first step apart from the framework, the state shall establish a Robopark and help in the formation of robotics startups as well. The Telangana Robopark will have testing facilities, co-working options, and many more. These incubators will also be in partnership with private companies, industries, and academia as well.

TRIC - Telangana Robotics Innovation Centre

The Telangana Robotic Framework will be spearheaded by a separate authority called the Telangana Robotics Innovation Centre. The body will be aided by other governmental organizations, such as the Research and Innovation Circle of Hyderabad and the Telangana State Innovation Cell (TSIC). The five pillars of TRIC or Telangana Robotics Innovation Centre will be Responsible deployment, research and innovation, human capital innovation, infrastructure access, and business enablement.

Telangana Robo Park

Apart from the facilities mentioned above, Telangana Robo Park will also have a centralized storage system for robotic parts and systems, which will be known as Central Electronics Hub. This facility will help in the storage, procurement, and customs clearance of robotic and related parts in the future, which will further the seamless processes without any delay. The Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology will help the body by providing infrastructure and local manufacture of complex parts.

Benefits of Telangana Robotic Framework Startup

With the establishment of the Robotic framework in Telangana, the Telangana Government is offering the startup process of the Robotic Accelerator Centre, providing the services of authorization support, infrastructure, incubation and so on.

This also provides facilities for the robotic startups in Telangana, and the Government will provide them with incentives, including patent filling, stamp and transfer duties, power cost, employment, and so on.

Other Support Systems for Telangana Robotics Framework

• Under the National Academy of Legal Studies and Research, patent filing and other legal support systems will be provided.

• There will also be a Robotics Accelerator Centre for startups and incubation.

• Under NITI Aayog's Atal Innovation Mission, schools will have special training programs, and Robotics Exploration Labs will be established.

Telangana Robotics Framework - Safety and Security Measures

The Telangana Robotic Framework says that the Telangana Government will meet all the safety and security measures. The Government will generate a roadmap regarding the regulation compliance.
