One of the oldest churches in Bangalore, St Mary's Basilica is one of the most revered places in the Silicon Valley of India. The church is located in the heart of Bangalore in Shivaji Nagar and elevated to the status of a minor basilica.
Starting out as a minor thatched hut dedicated to Kanikkai Madha, the chapel was built by the Tamil immigrants of the Bangalore cantonment. It was named the Chapel of our Lady of Presentation and the current Shivaji Nagar area where it was located was called Black Pally after "Bili Akki Pally" or John Blakiston. Certain stories attribute it to the time of the Black Plague when the church served everyone affected and the It was then renovated multiple times by Fr Jean Debois, Fr Andreas and the present church was constructed by Rev. L. E. Kleiner. However, it was awarded the status of Basilica by Pope John Paul IV as Annai Arockiya Marie Basilica in 1973. The denomination is Roman Catholic.
One of the striking features of St Mary's Basilica is its Gothic Architecture and of course the cross shaped building. The grandeur of its elegant architecture and the hallowed silence inside transport visitors to a time when Bangalore was still a quiet cantonment, and strained glass windows each tells a colourful Christian tale of Jesus and his disciples or the holy saints.

The next church we will discuss about is one of the most popular churches in Bangalore. The All Saints Church provides a serene escape from the urban hustle of the Tech capital of India. It is also known as Garden Church Of The Garden City.
All Saints Church is over 150 years old and is a prime example of how greenery is blended with Colonial Architecture. The lovely gardens beckons devotees and visitors alike.

St. Patrick's Church, both a house of God as well as a landmark situated on Residency Road, Bangalore. One of the oldest churches in Bangalore and Karnataka, it was built in 1841. Located in the Central Business District, stands as a captivating testament to Bangalore's colonial past, seamlessly blending the sacred with the historical. The architecture of the church is a mix of colonial and neoclassical styles.

The St. Mark's Cathedral is located on MG Road, Bangalore. An awe-inspiring masterpiece is located in the heart of Bangalore's commercial hub Church Street. The cathedral was an Anglican Garrison Church built in 1808 and is now part of the Church of South India. The cathedral boasts of iconic English Baroque architecture that stands out amidst the commercial core of Bangalore.

Infant Jesus Church is situated in Malleshwaram and is one of the top churches in Bengaluru. The shrine shrouded in an air of mystique, is believed to be a sacred space where miracles unfold. The Catholic church with frequent Mass and a shrine dedicated to Infant Jesus. It has a unique contemporary style of architecture that stands out.

Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Church is one of the iconic churches located on Haralur Road, a much sought-after residential region in Bangalore. It is very close to the Properties in Sarjapur Road making it an ideal landmark in the city. The church's simplicity in design belies the profound spiritual experiences that unfold within its walls

Situated in Whitefield the IT hub of Bangalore and one of the most popular residential regions of Bangalore. Whitefield, before the tech crowd was once the quiet hamlet of Anglo Indians. The land was granted by Chamaraja Wodeyar X, the Maharaja of Mysore in 1882. The Memorial Church thus still carries on the old world Anglo - Architectural Charm and it is now considered both a place of worship and as a heritage site.
One of the major Churches in South Bangalore, Our Lady of Sorrows Church is relatively a younger church. It is located in Electronic City Phase 2 a well-known residential hub as well as an IT centre that houses multiple startups and companies. The church spiritually shelters the Syro-Malabar Catholic Christian community in the area and is headed by the Missionaries of St. Francis de Sales community.

Sacred Heart Church is a Knanaya Catholic church in Bangalore located in KR Puram or Krishna Raja Puram. Sacred Heart Knanaya Catholic Church is a peaceful spiritual hub for devotees and visitors alike and offers tranquillity to many a lost soul. The church comes under the Archepachy of Kottayam.

Holy Trinity Church is located close to the Trinity Metro Station on MG Road. Constructed in 1851, this Anglican Church was built for the English Regiment stationed in the city. The church is a landmark of Bangalore and the architectural style followed is the English Renaissance. It is also one of the largest Military churches in South India.
Established in 1864, St. Andrew's Church on Cubbon Road is one of Bangalore's most prominent landmarks. This Presbyterian church is a spectacular specimen of Gothic architecture, with soaring spires, pointed arches, and detailed stonework. St. Peter's Church, which was opened in 1937, is a symbol of faith and spirituality in the Rustam Bagh area. St. Thomas Church, founded in 1934, is a well-known Anglican church in Bangalore's quiet Cleveland Town neighborhood. The church is known for its beautiful colonial-style architecture, which features elegant arches, soaring spires, and elaborate stained-glass windows that cast a warm, bright glow throughout the interior. The church's serene setting, surrounded by lush greenery, provides a peaceful getaway from the hustle and bustle of the city, transforming it into a spiritual refuge for its flock. St. Thomas Church is more than just a place of worship; it is also an important monument in Bangalore's rich ecclesiastical history.
The Church of Our Lady of Lourdes, located in Bangalore's lively Ulsoor area, is a treasured monument with a rich history that dates back to 1914.
