When it comes to schools and colleges, Kalapahar doesn't disappoint. I noticed a few well regarded institutions like St. Francis School and Dibrugarh University's extension center nearby, making it convenient for students of all ages. For medical needs, you have reputable clinics and hospitals just a stone's throw away, like the GNRC Hospital which is always busy but provides good service when you need it. One thing that could be improved is the public transport frequency during peak hours, sometimes waiting can feel a bit tedious if you're trying to catch a bus or auto rickshaw. Still, the greenery around gives me peace while I wait! The local shops are pretty handy too for everyday essentials which adds to the overall charm of living here.

Found some really nice restaurants and cafes around Kalapahar. The options for food are pretty diverse, from local Assamese dishes to quick bites and even a couple of popular chains. I've enjoyed trying out different places with friends, especially the small cafes that offer cozy vibes. Power supply is mostly reliable here, which is a huge plus for working from home or just chilling in the evenings. One small thing though: sometimes during peak hours, it can get a bit noisy due to traffic nearby, but it's manageable.

Schools and colleges are all around, which is really convenient for families. The sense of community is strong, neighbors often come together for local events and just to catch up. It's nice to see kids playing outside and families enjoying the parks. One tiny complaint would be that sometimes the roads can get a bit noisy during rush hours, but it's manageable. The greenery adds to the charm too, making it feel less like a city and more like home.

Proximity to hospitals and clinics in Kalapahar is a big plus for me, especially with a few good options just around the corner. Traffic can be a bit of a headache during peak hours, though, it's not uncommon to sit in congestion when heading out or coming back home. Still, the greenery and open spaces here make it all worthwhile. Plus, I love how friendly everyone is in this neighborhood!

Nestled against the hills, Kalapahar feels really peaceful compared to other parts of Guwahati. The noise levels are surprisingly low, making it a great spot for relaxing after a long day. Plus, I've found the water supply to be quite reliable which is a big plus here. Just wish there were more streetlights at night, sometimes it gets a bit dark while walking around.

Shifted in about eight months back. The flat itself is fine, layout is practical and the building is well maintained. Main road access takes a bit of time during peak hours but manageable.

Auto and cab availability around here is pretty decent, which makes commuting hassle free. I hardly face any issues finding rides, whether it's for heading to work or exploring the city. For food lovers, there are some fantastic eateries nearby. From street vendors serving mouth watering momos to cozy cafes with good coffee, there's something for every craving. Recently tried a small new place that specializes in Assamese cuisine, and it was genuinely delightful! One minor complaint would be the inconsistency in service at certain restaurants during peak hours, sometimes it feels like they're overwhelmed. But aside from that small hiccup, Kalapahar has really been great for satisfying those late night snack runs or lazy weekend brunches with friends!

Hospitals and clinics are really close by, which is super convenient for quick check ups or emergencies. The roads here are generally well maintained, making commutes smooth. One small issue I've noticed is that some footpaths could use a little more attention, they're not always in the best shape. But overall, it's a nice place to be with everything I need nearby.

Strolling through Kalapahar, the abundance of greenery and parks really stands out. I often find myself visiting the nearby park for a morning walk or just to relax with my thoughts. Supermarkets are conveniently placed, and I can easily pick up groceries after work without any hassle. Local kirana stores add that homely feel, offering everything from snacks to essentials right around the corner. The community vibe is lovely with friendly faces at every turn. One little issue though: sometimes the delivery times can be a bit slow from certain places during peak hours, which can be frustrating if I'm really craving something specific. Despite this small annoyance, enjoying fresh air while grabbing supplies makes living here enjoyable overall.

Been here close to a year now. Water supply is consistent and the lift rarely gives trouble. Society could do better on common area upkeep but nothing deal breaking.

Street lighting in Kalapahar does a decent job of keeping the roads visible at night, making it feel safer to walk around after dark. The quality of the roads is generally good, with minimal potholes and well maintained surfaces that make commuting easy. Footpaths are present but could use some improvement, they're often uneven or obstructed by plants, which can be annoying for pedestrians. Despite this small issue, I find the area welcoming with friendly neighbors and nice places to explore nearby. Safety seems prioritized here, which gives me peace of mind while walking about in the evenings.

Water supply issues hit hard here, especially during the summer months. There have been days when we struggle to get even basic water needs met, which can be frustrating. Power cuts are also common and not just occasional, they disrupt daily routines frequently. Though some evenings are fine, I often find myself relying on my inverter more than I'd like. On the bright side, there's a sense of community that pulls everyone together during these tough times, but it's tough to overlook how inconsistent utilities affect our day to day life.

Cafes and restaurants around here offer some delicious options, from local Assamese dishes to continental treats. My favorites are the cozy little spots that serve fresh coffee, they always have a nice vibe for hanging out with friends. Evenings are usually peaceful, making it easy to unwind after a long day. Just one small issue is occasional construction noise during the day, but it's manageable most of the time.

Took possession six months ago. The finish quality is decent, no major complaints. Security at the gate is proper and the neighbourhood has all basic amenities within reach.

Living here for the past ten months. The flat gets good ventilation and the construction quality is solid. The maintenance team is responsive enough when you raise issues.

Power supply here is pretty stable, which is a huge relief considering some places in the city have issues. Whenever I feel like eating out or grabbing a coffee, there are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes nearby that never disappoint. From street food to cozy spots for brunch, I've found something to satisfy any craving. One downside has been occasional delays with service during peak hours at popular eateries, it can get frustrating when you're really hungry. Still, the food scene keeps me coming back for more adventures!

Roads in Kalapahar are generally well maintained, making commuting smooth. Auto and cab services are pretty reliable, so catching a ride is never a hassle. Footpaths could use some work though, they're often uneven and make walking tricky at times. Despite that little issue, the neighborhood feels lively with friendly faces around. Local shops and eateries add charm to the area, creating a nice vibe overall. It's definitely an enjoyable place to spend time and explore.

Roads in Kalapahar have been well maintained lately, making commutes smoother than before. Footpaths are decent too, allowing easy walks without much hassle. Power supply has been quite reliable, which is a relief during hot days when fans are essential. One thing that could use improvement is the lighting along some of the streets, it gets pretty dark at night in certain spots. However, the community vibe more than makes up for it with friendly faces and local events happening regularly.

Metro connectivity around here has been super helpful, making commuting really easy for work and daily errands. Property prices have shot up recently too, which shows that more people are noticing how nice this place is. There's a lively market scene nearby that adds to the charm, but I wish there were more options for public transport timings in the evenings. Still, it's definitely an exciting area to be part of!

Supermarkets and local kirana stores are pretty convenient around here, making shopping hassle free. I find that the property prices have gone up quite a bit lately, which is great for those looking to invest. There are some nice options for groceries and everyday essentials without having to travel far. Just one thing though, sometimes the smaller stores run out of stock on popular items more often than I'd like. But with the mix of modern amenities and local charm, Kalapahar feels like a good place to settle down.
