Chennai civic body says the majority of people now may pay property tax online.
Chennai, Tamil Nadu: The number of people paying property tax online in Chennai has been increasing consistently. The official data of the city corporation shows. This has now crossed the 50% mark.
The civic body has started a rebate of 5% for those who pay their tax from the first to the 15th of the month. To make things simpler for the citizens, the civic body has tied up with the online payment system the Bharat Bill Pay.
Andhra Pradesh is set to introduce 3 concept cities for IT and related industries.
Andra Pradesh: The Chief Minister said that the three concept cities are set to contribute to the IT progress and further support the development of the state by drawing in as many industries as possible.
Also, this is focused on creating a massive number of job opportunities. Andra Government is also planning to develop an integrated industrial park in Visakhapatnam, including high-end skill universities, laboratories, incubation centres, offices, IT towers, and data centres.
By June 2021, 6 states will have maps 100 times more detailed than the current maps.
New Delhi: By June 2021, Karnataka, Punjab, Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Haryana, and Uttarakhand will have maps 100 times more detailed than existing ones.
The latest topographical survey of India was formulated in 2005. The same database is still being used by all the government bureaus such as the National Highways Authority of India, Census of India, and Defence. This update is set to aid these agencies in strategizing and developing better; this map will include details on housing structures, urban planning, and rural property rights.
