Karnataka reduces stamp duty to 3% for flats less than 20 Lakh!

Karnataka: In order to boost the affordable housing sector of the state, the B.S Yediyurappa cabinet on Thursday reduced the registration fee down to 3% from the existing 5%. This reduction of stamp duty will be applicable only to properties costing less than Rs 20 Lakhs. The same would apply to industries as well for acquiring land.

PMC to sell 1200 Flats to Current Occupiers

Pune: Pune Municipal Corporation decided to sell over 1200 civic flat units to the current tenants. These tenants are denizens of the state who lost their living spaces due to infrastructure developments undertaken by the state, such as an expansion of roadways. The civic body expects to gain over Rs 200 Cr from the sale.

Slum Residents near Airport to be Re- Settled to Tenements

Mumbai: Udhaav Thackeray, hon Cheif Minister of Maharashtra, has ordered to resettle the slum dwellers who reside near the Airport land to the tenements meant to rehabitalize eligible candidates. These tenements had been completed for over 12 years for the same.

Ownership Rights Conferred to 2193 to Residents of Un-Authorised Colonies

New Delhi: Under PM- UDAY, a large number of residents, over 2100 residents of un-authorised colonies of Delhi were given Ownership rights. This scheme which started in October of 2019, has over 42,167 applications.
