Thalambur has great road access all the way up to Chennai's center sector, thanks to the Old Mahabalipuram Road and East Coast Road running parallel to this locality. These roads connect Thalambur to Chennai's developed northern sector through various other roadways. Polacheri Road connects Thalambur to Medavakkam-Mambakkam Road, which connects it to places like Perumbakkam, Sithalapakkam, and Mambakkam.

Thalambur's extensive and planned growth was made possible by good connections and social infrastructure in the surrounding areas, as well as the availability of big land parcels. The construction of Old Mahabalipuram Road and East Coast Road enticed many investors to explore the neighboring areas. The Chennai International Airport is 22 kilometers from Thalambur and may be achieved through the 200-Feet Road. The OMR is an alternate route to the airport. If the roads are clear, you can be reached in 30 minutes.
